The film revolves around burning issues of dowry and corruption. Muskaan (Zareen ali)is a lecturer, who stays along with her brother, a school teacher and his wife. In spite of being eduacted, it becomes difficult for her to find the right match. Some how Muskaan gets engaged to a boy but this doesn`t lead to marraige as the boys` family demands a dowry of Rs 5 lakh, a week before the marriage. It`s not over yet.
